Job Description

Kendal Crosslands Communities (KCC) is a distinguished residential community located near West Chester, Pennsylvania, Wilmington, Delaware, and Maryland. Nestled on 500 acres of picturesque rolling hills, lush green meadows, and beautiful gardens, KCC provides its residents and staff with an unparalleled living and working environment. As the Front Desk Ambassador at Kendal Crosslands Communities, you will serve as the primary point of contact between guests, residents, and KCC. This critical role involves being the face and voice of the community, ensuring that every visitor and resident feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. As the central figure in community communications, you will uphold the KCC culture and values, delivering exceptional customer service and addressing all inquiries and requests with professionalism and warmth. The position requires dedication to maintaining a positive and inviting environment, as every interaction contributes to the overall reputation and success of the community.

This role requires a minimum work commitment of 12 hours per quarter, providing flexibility while ensuring consistent presence and support at the front desk. Successful candidates will be willing to undergo cross-training at Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands receptionist desks, enhancing their skills and contributing to seamless community operations. The Front Desk Ambassador role is instrumental in managing communication flow within the community and supporting the diverse needs of residents and guests. Physical demands include sitting for extended periods, working at a computer terminal, and the ability to lift packages weighing up to 25 pounds. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Basic computer literacy
  • Willingness to train and adapt in a community setting

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact between guests and residents at Kendal Crosslands Communities
  • Uphold the KCC culture while making guests and visitors feel welcomed and valued
  • Address resident and guest inquiries and requests satisfactorily
  • Maintain clear and effective communication within the community
  • Attend cross-training sessions at Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands receptionist desks
  • Manage front desk operations including computer and telephone duties
  • Assist with lifting and moving packages up to 25 pounds
