Job Requirements

  • one year of customer service or related work experience
  • proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Job Duties

  • Serve as Concierge to guests including making restaurant reservations, providing directions, recommending area attractions
  • becoming familiar with property location, room types, room rates, and offered services
  • Review guest reservation status, identify length of stay, present options and alternatives, use suggestive selling techniques
  • Accommodate guests with registration, assign rooms, generate secure room cards, assist with special requests, monitor reservations, understand cancellation procedures and room status tracking
  • Verify payment methods, adhere to credit and cash handling policies, post charges, manage safe deposit boxes, handle mailing and messaging
  • Input guest information in PMS system, maintain front desk cleanliness, post purchases to folios, confirm logs accuracy
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room status, early check-ins, late check-outs, special requests, and maintenance needs
  • Adapt to shift changes, attend meetings, remain aware of daily activities
  • Report unusual occurrences to management, understand safety and emergency procedures
  • Perform other tasks to meet or exceed guest satisfaction
