Job Description
WeWork is a global company dedicated to providing flexible workspace solutions designed to help businesses of all sizes thrive. Operating in more than 37 countries worldwide, WeWork is at the forefront of the future of work, leading a movement that fosters innovation, productivity, and community. The company’s mission is to build a vibrant, supportive community where members can achieve their best work and bring their ideas to new heights. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and flexibility, WeWork offers dynamic workspaces equipped with state-of-the-art amenities designed to meet the evolving needs of its diverse clientele ranging from startups and freelancers to established enterprises.
As a Front Desk Associate at WeWork, you become the welcoming face and primary point of contact within one of the company’s beautifully designed locations. This role operates on weekdays and serves an essential function to the Community Management team by ensuring that every member and guest experiences exceptional hospitality. Your day-to-day interactions contribute directly to the creation of a warm, inviting environment where members feel recognized, supported, and valued. You will manage front desk operations including greeting all visitors warmly, handling mail and packages, facilitating guest registration, assisting with keys, and maintaining order and cleanliness at the community bar and entrance areas.
The position requires a proactive and personable individual who thrives on interpersonal connection and enjoys multitasking in a bustling environment. You are expected to develop genuine relationships by learning members’ names, understanding their business needs, and anticipating their questions and concerns. This role also involves active promotion of WeWork’s products and services, enabling members to maximize their potential through the company’s offerings.
Beyond daily operational responsibilities, you will contribute to maintaining the overall functionality and aesthetics of the building. Ensuring amenities are restocked, monitoring the space, and responding promptly to emergencies or unusual incidents are vital components of your role. Collaboration is key, as you will coordinate closely with Community Associates, Leads, and Managers to uphold WeWork’s core values and achieve the company’s mission.
WeWork values individuals who demonstrate integrity, dependability, and compassion while embodying a passion for community building. You should be comfortable representing the brand in person and confident in using basic computer skills to support operational tasks. Experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; what matters most is your eagerness to engage with people meaningfully and contribute to a vibrant community.
Compensation for this role includes an hourly base pay ranging from $18.50 to $19.50, with eligibility for incentive compensation plans tailored to the position. Full-time employees enjoy a generous benefits package including 20 days of paid time off, approximately 13 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick leave per year, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, competitive healthcare benefits, a 401k plan, and life and AD&D insurance.
Life at WeWork is about more than just a job—it is about being part of a passionate community that embraces diversity and creativity. At WeWork, you will work alongside innovative thinkers who dare to dream and do, participate in employee community groups, and contribute to global projects that challenge the status quo. The company prides itself on being an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, committed to diversity, inclusion, and affirmative action. Joining WeWork means joining a supportive environment where your unique perspectives are celebrated and where collaboration and respect drive success.
