Job Description

Pet Paradise is a full-service pet care company dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets across the United States. Established as a resort-style pet care destination, Pet Paradise offers a comprehensive range of services including day camp and care, professional grooming, veterinary care, and overnight boarding that feels like home. With over 60 locations spread across ten states and continuing expansion, Pet Paradise has become a trusted brand for pet parents seeking premium care options for their furry family members. The company prides itself on creating a safe, entertaining, and loving environment for pets, ensuring they live the happiest, healthiest, and longest lives possible. The culture at Pet Paradise values team members who are passionate about pets and committed to delivering excellent service in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Pet Paradise is also a drug-free, smoke-free, and equal opportunity employer, complying with all company policies and federal and state laws to prevent discrimination.

The Front Desk Associate role at the Bonita Springs resort location is an exciting opportunity for individuals who love interacting with pets and their owners. Starting at $14.00 per hour—with scheduled increases after six months and on each anniversary—the position offers not only competitive pay but also numerous perks and benefits. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the welcoming face of Pet Paradise, ensuring every pet parent and their furry guest receives a warm and positive first impression. The role is dynamic and engaging, involving a variety of tasks such as managing check-ins and check-outs, coordinating pet suite assignments, handling pet harnesses, communicating with both customers and veterinary services, and maintaining cleanliness in the front areas of the resort.

This role is much more than a traditional front desk job. Associates actively engage with pets by walking them during drop-off and pick-up times and assisting in meeting all their individual needs. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll be answering phone calls, responding to emails and voicemail messages, and collaborating with resort management to ensure a smooth operation. Physical stamina is important since this position requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Pet Paradise also emphasizes the importance of a cheerful, friendly, and team-oriented attitude in their associates, combined with an ability to work efficiently under some urgency without sacrificing quality customer service.

Beyond the daily duties, Pet Paradise offers substantial opportunities for career advancement through its Unleashed Leadership Academy, Dog Training Academy, and Grooming Academy. Employees can gain hands-on leadership training or develop specialized skills as certified dog trainers or professional pet groomers, supported by scholarships. Additionally, employees can enjoy an array of benefits such as complimentary pet care services including day camp and boarding, discounted veterinary and grooming services, fitness reimbursements, paid time off, and company-matched 401(k) plans. These benefits support a healthy work-life balance, enhancing both employee well-being and job satisfaction.

Working at Pet Paradise means being part of a community of pet lovers who value compassionate care and meaningful interactions with animals and their owners. It is a rewarding environment where you can grow professionally while making a positive impact on pets’ lives every day. If you are passionate about pets and exceptional customer service, the Front Desk Associate position offers a fulfilling career path within a thriving company dedicated to pet care excellence.
