Front Desk Associates must be well-versed in handling guest inquiries and resolving complaints to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include assisting with reservations, managing room pre-registrations and blocking, and aiding group arrivals. Associates are expected to process payments accurately and adhere to hotel procedures regarding financial transactions, including ensuring the cash bank till is balanced and making necessary drops. Upselling hotel facilities and marketed items forms part of their tasks, contributing to the hotel's revenue goals. Communication is essential in this role, requiring effective coordination with all hotel departments to meet guest needs efficiently. The position may also involve handling specific tasks assigned by the Assistant General Manager or General Manager. Knowledge of the Front Office System Software Environment (FOSSE) is considered a bonus, enhancing the associate's ability to perform their duties with greater proficiency. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to relocate to Clovis, CA before starting work
  • Ability to commute to Clovis, CA 93612
  • Legal authorization to work in the country
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and register guests in a friendly manner
  • Assist in taking reservations, pre-registrations, and room blocking
  • Assist groups upon arrival
  • Be the first to handle and resolve guest issues

  • Perform check out tasks
