The role of Lodging Front of House Agent at Solitude Mountain Resort is a vital position responsible for managing all receptionist and clerical duties within the lodging department. As the first point of contact for guests, the Front of House Agent plays an essential role in delivering a positive and welcoming first impression. This position requires a friendly, professional demeanor combined with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to outstanding guest service. Starting at $18.65 per hour, the role is available on a seasonal basis and offers full-time and part-time employment options. Successful candidates will handle guest arrivals and departures, manage reservations, answer inquiries, and provide assistance across interdepartmental functions. The job also involves daily administrative responsibilities like preparing occupancy reports and logging maintenance requests. Additional duties include maintaining lobby cleanliness, supporting mailroom operations, and providing bell and valet services when needed. Job Duties

  • deliver exceptional guest service
  • handle arrivals and departures, assisting with guest accounting
  • answer inbound and in-house phone calls, book reservations, and assist with interdepartmental inquiries
  • respond promptly to guest requests
  • address lodging, guest folio, and general inquiries via email
  • log maintenance requests and follow up on their completion, assisting when necessary
  • prepare daily reports, including occupancy, arrival, and departure reports
  • maintain lobby coffee service
  • assist in mailroom operations
  • perform light housekeeping to keep the lobby and back areas clean
  • provide bell service and valet assistance to guests as needed
