The role available is that of a Front Desk Agent, a pivotal position responsible for managing guest interactions at the forefront of the hotel operations. The Front Desk Agent acts as the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting and registering them efficiently and courteously. This role involves checking guests in and out, managing reservations, and handling guest requests with professionalism and accuracy. In addition to administrative tasks, the Front Desk Agent must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and the internal team. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or customer service preferred
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage cash transactions
- Ability to operate front office computer systems
- Physical ability to sit for prolonged periods and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of reservation and front office systems
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Greet and communicate cordially with guests promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel
- Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary
- Promptly accurately and efficiently know how and where to post all charges
- Have complete working knowledge of Front Office computer or manual system including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often
- Accurately manage cash handling including receiving cash checks and credit card information from guests for payment of hotel charges and making change correctly
- Review any reservations with special requests and work to block rooms accordingly
- Have knowledge of hotel rates discounts and how to handle each
- Have working knowledge of reservations and procedures including how to take same day reservations Should be able to take reservations in approximately 2 minutes Know and follow cancellation procedures and relocation procedures when necessary
