Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel front desk or hospitality preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in front office computer systems
  • knowledge of hotel reservation and billing procedures
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • basic math skills for cash handling

Job Duties

  • Greet and communicate cordially with guests
  • promptly and professionally check guests in and out of the hotel
  • assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary
  • post all charges accurately and efficiently
  • manage cash handling including receiving payments and making change
  • review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly
  • maintain knowledge of hotel rates, discounts, and reservation procedures
  • take same day reservations promptly and follow cancellation and relocation procedures
