Job Description

Our hotel features 183 comfortable rooms and an expansive 10,000 square feet of versatile event space, making it an ideal venue for both leisure travelers and business conferences. We are currently seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team on a part-time basis, with a rate of pay at $17.50 per hour. This position involves warmly welcoming guests and ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout their stay. As a front desk team member, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a positive and seamless experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires professionalism, promptness, and the ability to maintain a calm and efficient demeanor in a dynamic and busy environment. The ideal candidate is proactive and attentive, ensuring guest satisfaction by responding effectively to inquiries and resolving any concerns that may arise during the stay.

The position requires open availability, particularly during the evening hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 3 PM to 11 PM. The ability to multitask, manage phone communications professionally, and provide attentive service recovery are essential to success in this role. Physical demands include the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and to stand for the majority of the shift. Prior experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) will be greatly advantageous. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of customer service or front desk experience in a hospitality setting are required.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • one year of front desk experience in hotels preferred
  • one year of experience working in customer service or a guest-facing role required
  • full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel
  • previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus
