Job Description

Our establishment is a reputable hotel that prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding customer service and efficient operational management. Located in a convenient and accessible area, our hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their stay. We have cultivated a work environment that supports growth, teamwork, and attention to detail, attracting dedicated hospitality professionals. The hotel industry is competitive, and in order to maintain our high standards, we seek committed employees possessing both technical skills and a genuine passion for service. Whether new to hospitality or experienced, individuals here are supported to develop their skills and contribute meaningfully to our guests' satisfaction. We are currently hiring for the position of Front Desk Agent, a crucial role that serves as the first point of contact for our valued guests and ensures the smooth operation of the front office. This role offers a starting hourly wage of $23, reflecting our commitment to fair compensation for the skills and dedication our staff bring to the table.

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming and checking guests in and out in a professional and friendly manner while managing reservations and processing payments accurately. The role also involves managing special requests, blocking rooms when necessary, and maintaining thorough knowledge of hotel rates, discounts, and reservation procedures. Quick and effective communication skills are a must, alongside an ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor. Physical demands include spending significant time seated at a computer, but also standing and walking as needed, with required manual dexterity for keyboard work and handling office equipment. This position often requires working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of guests. We are looking for a proactive team member who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is dedicated to creating excellent guest experiences from their first interaction. This role provides an opportunity to be part of a supportive hospitality team, where each day brings rewarding challenges and the satisfaction of making guests feel at home. As such, the Front Desk Agent position is not only about operational tasks but also about embodying a welcoming spirit and professional attitude that enhances our hotel's reputation and guest loyalty.
