Job Description

Grand Fitness Partners, established in 2010, is a prominent Planet Fitness franchisee operating over 92 locations. As a key player in the fitness industry, Grand Fitness Partners is devoted to advancing Planet Fitness’ mission of enhancing individuals’ lives by delivering a premium fitness experience in a welcoming and non-intimidating setting. The company prides itself on creating a Judgement Free Zone®, ensuring every member and guest feels comfortable and supported in their health and wellness journey. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and inclusivity has positioned them as a leading destination for fitness enthusiasts seeking a positive and motivating environment.

The Front Desk Sales Associate role at Grand Fitness Partners plays a vital part in maintaining the exceptional standard that Planet Fitness is known for. This part-time position centers on providing outstanding customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Sales Associate is expected to embody the core values of the Judgement Free Zone® by warmly greeting patrons, proactively assisting with their needs, and fostering a supportive atmosphere throughout their interaction with the club. This position requires attentiveness, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure every individual has a seamless and positive experience.

In this role, responsibilities include managing membership functions such as sign-ups, billing updates, cancellations, and member transfers with accuracy and professionalism. The associate also plays a significant role in promoting club sales goals by executing retail transactions and conducting tours to prospective members, helping them identify the membership plan that suits their needs best. Beyond administrative duties, the associate actively participates in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility by regularly sanitizing exercise equipment, Black Card spa amenities, restrooms, and communal areas. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount.

Grand Fitness Partners offers a competitive wage of $17.00 per hour for this position, along with benefits including on-demand pay, medical, dental, and vision insurance available to full-time employees, employee discounts, a free Black Card membership, and a 401(k) savings plan. This role also requires a willingness to become CPR/AED certified, with training provided, underscoring the company’s commitment to member safety and emergency preparedness. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to meet physical job demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for prolonged periods.

Overall, this position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for fitness, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment.
