The Freelance Event Coordinator role at Blend is pivotal to the successful execution of our events, including dinners, roundtables, and conferences. This position requires an experienced professional who will act as the primary on-site contact, ensuring seamless event logistics and an exceptional experience for senior-level delegates, speakers, and clients. The coordinator will oversee all aspects of event setup and breakdown in partnership with venue staff, manage the collection and organization of printed materials and supplies, and ensure that all branding, signage, name badges, and related materials are correctly displayed. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills to welcome and register high-profile attendees, maintain clear communication with the internal Blend team throughout each event, and troubleshoot any issues promptly and with professionalism. Following every event, the coordinator is expected to provide detailed recaps including notes and photographic documentation to facilitate continuous improvement and internal reporting.
Ideal candidates for the Freelance Event Coordinator role will have proven experience in event coordination, hospitality, or other client-facing roles, combined with a professional demeanor that exudes confidence when interacting with senior executives. Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential to manage complex event logistics and to adapt quickly in dynamic environments. Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work evening events on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights are key to thriving in this role. We seek results-oriented individuals motivated to succeed, capable of distilling complex ideas into clear and concise language, and passionate about learning and personal growth. Previous experience in customer service, recruitment, hospitality, or sales will be advantageous. By joining Blend, candidates become part of an innovative, fast-growing venture committed to fostering diversity and inclusion.
