The Host position at Snowbird's Forklift Restaurant, situated in the resort's center, is a part-time, year-round role essential to delivering exemplary dining experiences to guests. As a host, you will be the welcoming face of the restaurant, responsible for greeting and seating guests warmly, ensuring the flow of guests is managed efficiently through either a waiting list or a reservation system. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills to engage with guests personally, often using guest names to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. You will be tasked with monitoring the dining area to ensure every table is appropriately presented before seating guests, thereby maintaining high standards of service and ambiance.
