Currently, Metz Culinary Management is seeking enthusiastic Culinary and Hospitality Team Members to join their busy Corporate Headquarters Employee Cafe located in Erie, Pennsylvania. The available roles include Culinary Team Members, Line and Prep Cooks, and Catering Team Members. Culinary Team Members are introduced to the full spectrum of dining services, gaining hands-on experience in both front- and back-of-the-house operations. They participate in plating, cafe setup and teardown, managing retail areas, and assisting in kitchen duties including food prep, dishroom sanitation, and inventory management. Candidates in this role are expected to have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude symbolized by a smile, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Line and Prep Cooks specialize in preparing delicious meals in alignment with executive chef menus, ensuring impressive food presentations. They are responsible for inventory control and ingredient portioning, while also maintaining kitchen cleanliness and assisting with various kitchen tasks. While experience at resorts is ideal, Metz Culinary Management welcomes applicants with a passion for food and a willingness to learn.

Catering Team Members have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fun atmosphere, providing exceptional hospitality while creating beautiful food presentations and displays. Job Duties

  • Perform plating and setup and teardown of cafe, restaurant, and retail dining areas
  • Assist in kitchen duties including food preparation, dishroom sanitation, and inventory management

  • Inventory and portion ingredients as needed
  • Create, transport, setup, serve, and breakdown banquet-style food displays for catering events
  • Provide excellent hospitality and guest experience during service
