We are hiring a Foodservice Kitchen Supervisor who will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence in a busy kitchen environment. This hourly position offers a competitive salary of $17.50 per hour and requires candidates to hold a valid driver’s license, pass a drug test, and complete a background check. The Foodservice Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, including employee management, scheduling, budget and record keeping, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards such as SERV Safe certification. This role is well-suited for individuals with experience in commercial or institutional dining environments like schools or healthcare facilities.
The successful candidate will be a polished and professional individual with strong leadership skills, capable of fostering a positive working environment and delivering exceptional guest service. Key responsibilities include developing rapport with residents, patients, and community members, addressing complaints and suggestions, supporting the General Manager in communications with clients and internal departments, and maintaining a safe and sanitary workplace. The supervisor will also play an integral role in training staff and ensuring ongoing employee development.
