The company operates one of the largest retail networks in the world, dedicated to helping people save money and live better through its numerous stores and online platform. The Bryant Walmart Supercenter continues this commitment by offering exceptional service and an extensive range of products at affordable prices to its local customers.
This position is for a part-time Food and Consumable Associate at the Walmart Supercenter #3230. The job is designed for individuals who are passionate about customer service and merchandising. As a Food and Consumable Associate, your primary responsibilities revolve around assisting customers and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing. Creative merchandising, including the creation of seasonal display features, plays a critical role in making the shopping experience satisfying and engaging for customers.
The position offers flexible mid-shift and closing shifts with an hourly wage ranging from $14 to $27, which meets or exceeds the minimum wage requirements applicable to the job location. In addition to the hourly wage, associates may earn quarterly or annual performance incentives which reward dedication and work quality. Some premium payments ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may also apply depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks performed, potentially increasing total earnings.
Walmart is deeply invested in the well-being of its associates, demonstrated through comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, and dental coverage. Financial security is supported through 401(k) plans, company-paid life insurance, and stock purchase programs. Paid time off (PTO) programs include parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting leave, providing associates the ability to balance work with personal life. Further benefits such as short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and more round out the extensive benefits package.
Another standout offering of Walmart is the Live Better U educational program, which fully funds tuition, books, and fees for a range of educational tracks including high school completion, associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, English Language Learning, and certificate programs. This program is available to both full-time and part-time associates, reflecting Walmart’s commitment to career advancement and personal growth.
Walmart maintains a drug-free workplace policy and enforces a zero-tolerance stance against illegal drugs and alcohol usage on the job to ensure a safe and productive environment for all employees. The position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to be part of a global leader in retail, who appreciate a customer-focused, flexible, and supportive work setting with opportunities for growth and development.
