FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER (FULL TIME)

Eurest is currently hiring for a full-time Food Transporter/Delivery Driver position based at their Intuit SD location in San Diego, California. This role operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, offering a consistent work schedule that supports work-life balance. The pay range for this position is between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour, reflecting competitive compensation for experience and skills. The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of food, supplies, and other products to various units and service areas using a company vehicle. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of production orders, ensuring that all food items are handled in compliance with stringent sanitation and safety guidelines. The transporter will be tasked with picking up supplies and completed production orders from staging clerks, inventorying items to verify completeness, and loading and unloading orders safely and in an organized manner. Maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the delivery vehicle is also part of the daily responsibilities, ensuring equipment is ready for reliable operation.

Beyond logistical tasks, the role demands a keen attention to detail, especially regarding compliance with food safety regulations, including temperature control to ensure hot and cold food items meet company and legal standards. The Food Transporter serves as a critical touchpoint for customer service, requiring excellent interpersonal skills to maintain company service standards through positive interactions with coworkers and customers.
