This role involves delivering food, supplies, and other essential products to various units and service areas within the hospital environment using company vehicles. The role’s schedule varies with shifts from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, enabling flexibility to meet operational needs. The fixed pay rate for this position is $19.32 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive compensation.\n\nAs a Food Transporter/Delivery Driver at CSG, you will be an integral part of the food service chain, ensuring that production orders are accurately loaded, securely transported, and timely delivered to designated locations. Responsibilities include receiving requisitioned supplies, verifying inventory to complete orders, safely handling food and equipment per sanitation standards, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and routine truck maintenance. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a food transporter or delivery driver preferred
- valid state driver’s license
- valid food handler’s permit where required
- ability to lift and move items safely
- good driving record
- ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines
- availability to work variable shifts including early mornings and evenings

Job Duties
- Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk
- receives completed production orders from staging clerk
- inventories items to ensure completion of production orders
- loads orders onto truck with assistance of staging clerks in a safe, orderly manner
- unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site
- follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
- ensures hot and cold food items are kept in compliance with company standards and meet all sanitation and safety requirements
- collects empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
- responsible for general cleanliness of assigned vehicle
- performs routine maintenance on truck
- interacts with coworkers to ensure company service standards
- provides quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail
- performs other duties as assigned
