The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver position at Morrison Healthcare offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to become part of this impactful organization. This role is based at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, providing both full-time and part-time schedules with days and hours that may vary, including rotating weekends and holidays. This role is critical in ensuring that food, supplies, and other products are transported safely and efficiently across various units and service areas using a company vehicle.

As a Food Transporter/Delivery Driver, your main responsibilities will include picking up requisitioned supplies and completed production orders from staging clerks, ensuring accurate inventory checks, and loading and unloading orders safely. The role demands strict adherence to sanitation and safety guidelines, especially when handling food items, to maintain company standards and food safety regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for routine vehicle maintenance, keeping the delivery vehicle clean, and providing exceptional customer service through attention to detail and one-on-one interactions. This position requires a valid driver’s license and previous experience in delivery truck driving, as well as the physical ability to perform lifting duties.
