Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must submit to and pass a background check
Must pass Luby's Cashier Certification criteria
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Open to varied work schedules depending on restaurant needs
Excellent customer service skills
Must be a team player
Previous experience is preferred but not required as training is provided

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous customer service experience is a plus
Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems is beneficial
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team player mentality

Job Duties

Take guests orders accurately and efficiently
Package, label, and bag food items for takeout and delivery
Receive and ring up guest orders using the point of sale system
Deliver food and beverages to customers
Process payments and handle cash register operations
Participate in Off Premise Dining activities
Provide courteous and timely customer service
