FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (PART TIME)

Located at Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, Morrison Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier to join their team. This role offers a part-time schedule with days and hours that may vary, including weekends, typically from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. The hourly pay range is between $15.00 and $17.00, with additional details to be discussed during the interview process.

The Food Service Worker/Cashier position plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of food service and customer care within the medical center. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cashiering duties along with general food service tasks such as food preparation and maintaining sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas. This position emphasizes both quality and safety, as employees ensure that meals are prepared in accordance with approved recipes, portion controls, and temperature requirements.

In addition to food preparation, the role involves direct customer interaction, where friendly, efficient, and respectful service is paramount. The Food Service Worker/Cashier will handle sales transactions accurately, manage cash and other payment methods, issue receipts, and resolve customer concerns in a courteous manner.
