Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in food service preferred
Serve Safe Certification required
Ability to lift and transport hot food items frequently
Capacity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of food items for the day and dating products
Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager
Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions
Use accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line
Maintain daily temperature logs
Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers
Alert management and pull food items that do not meet quality standards
Complete opening and closing station checklists
Greet customers and handle complaints with a positive attitude
Maintain a clean work station including floors, equipment, walls, and refrigerators
Ensure work areas and utensils are cleaned and sanitized
Dispose of waste accurately from the service line
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Assist with daily safety observations and report hazards
Cross-train in various areas as needed
Work in concessions, catering, and special events as required
Perform tasks assigned by managers or supervisors
Lead and advise employees on the line to ensure timely service
Request support for sanitation issues as needed
