This opportunity is based at the University of Florida (UF) Admin Racquet Club Dining Center located in Gainesville, Florida. The position available is for both full-time and part-time Food Service Workers, with immediate hiring to meet the demands of multiple shifts which include weekends, on call, and AM/PM schedules. The pay range for this role is between $14.00 and $25.00 per hour depending on experience and shift demands.

The Food Service Worker plays an integral role in preparing, presenting, and serving food in a friendly and efficient manner while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include performing various prep tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables, weighing and measuring ingredients accurately, and handling food items safely. The role requires moving pots, pans, and trays according to safety guidelines, storing food properly following food rotation procedures, and maintaining clean and sanitary workspaces and utensils. Additionally, workers will distribute supplies, utensils, and equipment as needed.

The Food Service Worker is expected to utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure product quality, appropriate serving temperatures, and proper portion control. This position requires excellent customer service skills in order to serve customers following company service standards and to effectively address any customer concerns by communicating them to supervisors. Compliance with inventory and cash control procedures along with company sanitation, safety, and service guidelines is mandatory.

Job Duties
