As a food service team member at TXB, you would play a vital role in supporting store management and ensuring that all store-level operations run smoothly. This full-time or part-time position encompasses a variety of responsibilities across the store, including food preparation, customer interaction, general housekeeping, and assisting with cash register tasks as needed. The primary goal is to deliver a customer experience that aligns with the company’s mission to "Leave ‘em Better" in every interaction. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining food safety standards, handling food preparation equipment proficiently, and working collaboratively with other team members to create a welcoming and efficient environment for guests. Those in this role will greet customers, prepare and serve a variety of menu items including tacos, chicken, and sides, provide menu information and help customers make informed choices, and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the work area. Additional duties include restocking supplies, complying with safety guidelines, supporting marketing efforts, and assisting with vendor management. Job Qualifications
- No prior experience is necessary
- Successful completion of on-the-job training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time
- May need to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
- Ability to work in excessive heat and cold associated with the kitchen environment

- Complete guest-centered duties and provide our guests with a clean environment
- Greet customers as they enter the location
- Prepare and serve foods such as tacos, chicken, and sides according to customer specifications
- Provide menu information and suggestions to customers including food suggestions and explanations of ingredients and preparation methods
- Assist with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks
- Operate grill, broiler, or deep-fat fryer to prepare specific fast foods
- Maintain, clean, and sanitize work stations
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and return to appropriate location in the kitchen area
- Refill condiments or other supplies
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Ensure the proper execution of all assigned store level marketing programs
- Replenish products and supplies to ensure in stock conditions at all times
- Check in external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures
- Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resource
