Aramark is currently seeking dedicated full-time Food Service Supervisors to join its passionate Food Services Team. This role plays a crucial part in supporting daily food service operations by supervising staff, assisting the manager in coordinating activities, and ensuring that all food-related processes meet safety, quality, and policy standards. The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for creating and maintaining work schedules, managing food production schedules, overseeing inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Working collaboratively with fellow team members, the supervisor will also train and mentor new employees, maintain communication across departments, and uphold high standards of workplace safety and cleanliness.

In this role, the Food Service Supervisor will demonstrate strong leadership abilities by supervising and evaluating staff performance, promoting morale, efficiency, and teamwork within the department. The position also requires active participation in catering events, occasional night and weekend shifts, and the flexibility to cover absent employees when needed. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions
  • Completion or willingness to complete a sanitation course
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends
  • Capability to handle stressful situations with emotional control
  • Ability to mentor and supervise staff
  • Flexibility to fill in for absent employees
  • Proficiency in multitasking

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
  • Direct daily activities
  • Maintain food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements
  • Ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
  • Maintain all serving schedules
  • ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner following Aramark policies and procedures
  • Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations
  • Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
  • May prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production for location
  • Supervise and evaluate employees

  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • Train/mentor other food service workers
  • Maintain logs on all maintenance required on equipment within the department
  • Ensure all food safety/temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action, as necessary

  • Proficiency in multi-tasking
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager
  • Must fill in for absent employees at location, as necessary
  • Maintain knowledge of daily catering events and confirm they are prepared and delivered on time
  • Be able to work occasional night and weekend catered events
  • Attend food service meetings with staff
  • Maintain communication with staff including office staff, e-mail, phone calls, inter-office mail, etc
  • May perform cashier duties as the need arises
  • Promote good public relations
