The position available is for a full-time Food Service Supervisor as part of Aramark's dynamic Food Services Team. This role is designed for individuals who are ready to step up their careers by leading and mentoring others, supporting operations, and maintaining high standards in food service management. Working closely with a manager, the Food Service Supervisor takes on a pivotal leadership role, supervising staff and ensuring that food production and services are executed efficiently and safely. The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily activities in the food service department, leading teams, and maintaining compliance with company policies and health regulations. They will produce and maintain work schedules, manage inventory, and ensure food safety protocols are followed rigorously. This role requires a proactive leader who can maintain high morale among employees, promote teamwork, and ensure an organized, hazard-free work environment. The position also involves training and mentoring food service workers to uphold quality and service standards.

In addition to operational duties, the Food Service Supervisor will play an active role in facilitating communication among staff members and collaborating closely with office teams to coordinate food service events, including catering. This position demands flexibility as occasional night and weekend work for catered events may be required. Supervisors will also engage in preventative maintenance of kitchen equipment and maintain accurate logs related to food safety and equipment care.

This role is ideal for those with strong organizational skills, the ability to handle stress effectively, and the capacity to resolve interpersonal conflicts constructively. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • completion of or willingness to complete sanitation training
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • flexibility to work nights and weekends when required

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • complete a sanitation course before or during first year

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality per policies and procedures
  • ensure food items are stored safely, organized, and hazard-free
  • maintain all serving schedules and ensure food is served per menu specifications following company policies
  • maintain a sanitary department following health and safety regulations
  • maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • prepare orders as needed for accurate production
  • supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote growth and teamwork
  • maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • train and mentor food service workers
  • maintain maintenance logs on equipment
  • complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • recommend equipment replacement to meet facility needs
  • demonstrate proficiency in multi-tasking
  • perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
  • fill in for absent employees as needed
  • maintain knowledge of daily catering events and ensure preparation and timely delivery
  • work occasional night and weekend catered events
