This role involves overseeing staff performance, working alongside teammates to ensure smooth food production and service, and filling in as needed to maintain operational excellence. The Food Service Supervisor is entrusted with producing and maintaining work schedules, preparing production packets including recipes and production sheets, and directing daily activities to meet departmental guidelines and standards. Supervisory responsibilities include training, mentoring, counseling, and evaluating food service workers to promote a positive workplace culture that encourages growth, efficiency, teamwork, and morale. Additionally, the supervisor ensures accurate inventory management and reporting, completion of food safety and temperature logs, and adherence to health and safety regulations. They are also expected to handle equipment maintenance logs, perform preventative maintenance checks, and recommend equipment replacements to align with facility needs.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to complete required sanitation training
- strong communication skills
- ability to multitask and work under pressure
- understanding of food safety regulations
- basic math skills
- availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
