Aramark operates a diverse range of services, including food preparation and facilities management for schools, hospitals, stadiums, businesses, and more. As a company, Aramark is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and fostering an inclusive workplace free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, and other legally protected classifications.
The Food Service Supervisor role at Aramark is a full-time, hourly position offering competitive pay between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and location. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play an essential leadership role within the food services team, working closely alongside managers to coordinate and lead daily operational activities. This position requires hands-on involvement in supervising staff, maintaining food safety and quality standards, managing inventory, and ensuring an efficient and safe working environment.
In this role, you will produce and maintain staff schedules, prepare production packets, and direct daily activities to maintain smooth operations. Food safety and quality are paramount, so you will oversee food production to ensure compliance with food safety policies and procedures. Keeping the food storage areas safe, organized, and hazard-free is part of your responsibilities, as is adhering to sanitation and health codes to maintain a clean and safe department.
Employee development is another critical aspect of this role. You will supervise and evaluate staff performance, promote employee growth and morale, and provide training and mentoring to team members. Supporting employee efficiency and teamwork helps to foster a positive work environment and achieve operational goals.
The role also includes maintaining accurate weekly inventory records, completing food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions as needed, performing preventative maintenance on equipment, and recommending equipment replacements. You will represent Aramark by promoting good public relations and participating in food service meetings. Occasional evening and weekend work is required for catered events, and you may also perform cashier duties and fill in for absent employees as necessary.
Working at Aramark provides access to a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans like 401(k), paid time off including parental leave, and disability coverage. Benefits vary by location and eligibility but are designed to support a healthy work-life balance and employee well-being.
Aramark is focused on professional growth, skill development, and creating opportunities to let you shine in your career. This is an exciting opportunity to step up into a leadership position within a renowned global service company where your contributions make a meaningful impact every day.
