The Food Service Supervisor position at Aramark is a vital role within their dynamic Food Services Team. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • Completion of sanitation course within first year of employment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Commitment to follow health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
  • Knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • Direct daily activities
  • Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
  • Ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
  • Maintain serving schedules and serve food per menu specifications following company policies
  • Maintain a sanitary department adhering to health and safety codes
  • Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
  • Prepare orders as needed for accurate production
  • Supervise and evaluate employees promoting growth and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • Train and mentor food service workers
  • Maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • Complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
  • Perform preventative maintenance checklists
  • Recommend equipment replacement
  • Multi-task efficiently
  • Perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
  • Fill in for absent employees as needed
  • Manage daily catering event preparation and delivery
  • Work occasional night and weekend catered events
  • Attend food service meetings
  • Maintain communication with staff
  • Perform cashier duties when required
  • Promote good public relations
