Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience supervising multiple employees
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Covington, Louisiana
  • Food Handler’s certification (preferred)
  • Culinary arts degree or related advanced degree (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Providing hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals, following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations
  • Ensuring all meals meet standards for quality
  • Supervising multiple employees in the kitchen environment
  • Maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Coordinating daily food service activities to ensure efficient and timely meal delivery
  • Managing inventory and supplies needed for meal preparation
  • Reporting and resolving any issues related to food production or staff performance
