The role of Prep Cook at SSA Group reports to the Kitchen Manager(s), Sous Chef(s), and Executive Chef, and is a vital part of ensuring high-quality food preparation and kitchen operations. This position involves preparing a variety of ingredients, including washing, chopping, seasoning, and marinating to support menu offerings. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen is essential, encompassing dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and managing supplies efficiently. Prep Cooks also assist with inventory management and proper storage of food and kitchen items, complying with all nutrition and sanitation guidelines to maintain the highest safety standards. The role requires flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. It is ideal for individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate manual dexterity with kitchen tools, and possess strong teamwork and communication skills.
