The Food Service Operations Director at Aramark plays a crucial role in managing and supervising dining facilities that serve cooked meals from a set menu, ensuring that the dining solutions meet the tastes and requirements of customers. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of previous experience
  • 1-3 years of prior management experience
  • Prior experience in the food service industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar level of expertise
  • Strong communication skills
  • Competence in maintaining client and customer relationships
  • Ability to provide superior customer service per Aramark standards
  • Proficiency in teamwork across departments
  • Capacity to occasionally handle objects up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to stand continuously for extended periods

  • Conduct periodic stock assessments
  • Maintain compliance with ARAMARK, governmental, and accrediting agency requirements
  • Interact with client decision-makers to maintain strong relationships
  • Lead front-end operations of the dining service
  • Develop and implement food service plans aligned with client core principles and sustainability
  • Explore new product and service opportunities to grow sales and retain customers
  • Participate in sales processes and contract discussions
  • Oversee accounting functions related to operations
