The Food Service Manager position is a vital management role based at Southeastern Correctional Facility in Lancaster, OH, where the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing dining solutions tailored to meet customer needs and tastes. This role involves overseeing and managing dining operations focused on serving customers who order prepared foods from a menu, ensuring both quality and efficiency. The compensation range for this position is between $58,000 and $60,000 annually, reflecting Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting. The Food Service Manager also plays a key role in maintaining effective client relationships by identifying customer needs and communicating operational progress clearly. Compliance with all applicable policies, including safety, health, and wage regulations, remains a top priority to maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees alike.
Additional responsibilities include leading the front of the house operations within the cafeteria or residential dining facility alongside the Food Service Director and coordinating food service activities to deliver excellent finished products to customers. Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a management role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's service model
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb
- Ability to stand for extended periods
