The Food Service Manager position is based at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, IN, and is a crucial role within the Patient Services Operation in the Food & Nutrition Department. This employment opportunity focuses on full-time engagement with responsibilities centered on managing patient food service operations that comply with established healthcare nutritional standards and government mandates. The Food Service Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing dining solutions that meet patient and customer preferences while ensuring healthy menu options are available in alignment with dietary guidelines.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage a team effectively, utilizing Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop staff to their full potential. The manager will lead patient service staff to ensure timely and proper meal preparation and delivery, oversee the diet office and the service ambassador program, and maintain high standards for safety and sanitation compliance throughout food service activities. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of patient food service experience and some management experience, paired with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Aside from day-to-day operations management, the Food Service Manager will also play a critical role in maintaining strong client relationships by ensuring excellent customer service and operational communication with healthcare providers and hospital administration. Financial oversight duties include assisting with financial statement completion, meeting client and company financial targets, and educating teams on improving operational margins through cost controls and efficient production. The Food Service Manager will also champion compliance with safety, health, and labor policies to maintain a secure and healthy environment for patients, customers, and employees alike.
