The role of Food Service Foreman at the Exchange offers an exciting leadership opportunity within this dynamic organization. As a Food Service Foreman, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced food service environment. Your primary responsibility will be leading and inspiring a dedicated team of Food Service Workers to exceed customer expectations consistently. You will be accountable for meeting sales goals through effective planning and execution of daily and weekly workloads, ensuring that your team delivers excellent service aligned with department and store objectives.

This position emphasizes creating schedules that match both customer and business needs while fostering a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management. You will develop your team’s capability to respond swiftly and effectively to any negative customer experiences, empowering them to make things right and maintain high standards of service. Your role will also include overseeing food preparation and sale during assigned shifts, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Working at the Exchange means being part of a team dedicated to growth and development. Associates benefit from flexible scheduling, comprehensive medical, dental, life and disability insurance, paid time off, shift differential and holiday pay, as well as a traditional pension and 401K plan for those who qualify. Additional perks include access to base facilities, participation in the Mass Transit program, and the distinct honor of serving as a Department of Defense employee.

Being a Food Service Foreman is a pivotal role that requires not only food service supervision skills but also excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities. It offers a unique chance to grow professionally while making a tangible difference for the military community. If you are passionate about leading teams, delivering extraordinary experiences, and serving those who serve, this role can be a rewarding next step in your career.
