With a strong foothold in supporting U.S. and international government agencies and organizations, IAH has established itself as a leader in delivering innovative, safe, and reliable solutions tailored to complex operational needs. Known for its commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment, IAH maintains a comprehensive workplace culture that values the unique perspectives and talents of all employees, ensuring a supportive environment that fosters growth and professional excellence.

The role of Food Service Executive Chef at Intrepid Acquisition Holdings involves comprehensive oversight of culinary operations and kitchen management. This pivotal position is responsible for the creation and management of menus, overseeing all food preparation activities, and ensuring kitchen cleanliness and proper management of both local and national staff. The Executive Chef must exhibit expertise in a variety of cooking techniques, including but not limited to Mexican and Italian cuisine, to craft high-quality entrees and supervise the preparation of side dishes and garnishments across all shifts. Responsibilities include cooking dishes according to established recipes, managing ingredient preparation such as cutting, trimming, and boning meats, poultry, and fish, and accurately estimating food consumption to requisition or purchase supplies necessary for seamless kitchen operations.

A crucial aspect of this role is ensuring that all food items received meet the required quality and quantity standards through meticulous examination. The Executive Chef must also demonstrate fiscal responsibility by working within predetermined budgets and making menu adjustments to optimize cost guidelines. By selecting and developing recipes grounded in professional knowledge and industry experience, this role directly impacts the culinary excellence and innovation of the kitchen output.

Supervisory responsibilities encompass managing personnel engaged in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meats, sauces, vegetables, soups, and other foods, while also overseeing portion control and presentation standards to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word and MS Excel, is required to efficiently manage administrative tasks related to kitchen management and reporting.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, complemented by the successful completion of an accredited culinary course. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of related experience is necessary, with a preference given to those with private sector chef experience. Additionally, an active security clearance at the Secret level is a mandatory requirement for this position, reflecting the sensitive nature of the services provided by Intrepid Acquisition Holdings and its affiliates.

This position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company that not only emphasizes operational excellence but also invests in the personal and professional development of its employees within a supportive and inclusive work environment.
