Aramark is a leading global provider of food services, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests every day in 15 countries worldwide. The company is rooted in service and united by a strong purpose to make a positive impact on its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. Aramark strives to foster an inclusive work environment where every employee enjoys equal employment opportunities, free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender identity, disability, and other protected characteristics. At Aramark, a career is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to develop talents, fuel passions, and empower professional growth. Whether pursuing a new challenge, a sense of belonging, or a great workplace, Aramark provides the resources and support needed to unlock one’s full potential.

The role of Food Service Director at Aramark is a dynamic management position that focuses on developing and executing innovative dining solutions tailored to meet diverse customer preferences and nutritional needs. This position involves the oversight of dining operations where customers order prepared foods from menus, ensuring an exceptional culinary experience. As a Food Service Director, you will lead, mentor, and engage teams to maximize their contributions through effective recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management. You play a key role in connecting food services to Aramark’s Executional Framework, fostering consistent success in service delivery.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing financial performance by building revenue, controlling costs related to food, beverage, and labor, and maintaining accurate profit and loss statements. Achieving budgetary goals for labor and food expenditures is critical, alongside implementing productivity initiatives such as efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management. You will ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health standards to provide a safe environment for clients, customers, and employees.

Your responsibility extends to coordinating and supervising personnel in production, merchandising, quality control, labor management, and training, while developing operational forecasts and maintaining government and company standards. You will interface with client management to sustain effective relationships and may participate in contract negotiations to support business growth. Part of your role includes managing front-of-house dining operations such as cafeterias or residential dining facilities and implementing food service plans aligned with client missions and sustainability practices.

Aramark embraces flexibility in job duties, allowing responsibilities to evolve with organizational needs. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, leadership, client satisfaction, and operational excellence, making it an exciting opportunity for candidates ready to impact the food service industry positively and advance their careers in a global organization.
