Job Requirements
- Experience as a cook or in a related role required
- knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods
- must be able to acquire food safety certification
- demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- good verbal and written communication skills
- ability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing and walking
- adherence to safety and sanitation standards

- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- validated knowledge of basic principles of food preparation and various cooking methods

Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food items in accordance with established production guidelines and standardized recipes

- measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items as part of ingredient preparation
- handle utensils such as knives safely
- operate machinery including ovens, cooking appliances, slicing tools, and mixing devices
- utilize cooking methods including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming to prepare various foods
- portion and garnish food according to guidelines
- adhere to food safety protocols for proper food storage
- sterilize and clean workspaces, equipment, and tools
- consistently provide excellent customer service with a positive demeanor
- ensure compliance with safety policies and accurate implementation of food safety and sanitation measures
