This job opportunity is for a Food Service Worker at Costco, responsible for preparing and selling food and drink items to customers within the warehouse environment. The role involves tasks such as preparing hot food, handling pizza from proofing to baking and slicing, steaming hot dogs and buns, and dispensing dessert and drink items like ice cream, lattes, and smoothies. This position requires providing excellent member service by taking orders, assisting with self-serve kiosks, and delivering orders efficiently and courteously. Workers will also be involved in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and eating areas according to health and safety standards, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work surfaces, washing utensils, and managing waste disposal. Additionally, the role entails stock management duties such as pulling supplies, staging ingredients, and ensuring proper rotation and storage.

Employees are expected to follow Costco's policies on safety, security, and sanitation, including adhering to production and cash handling procedures. Some job responsibilities include operating machinery, working across different departments as necessary, and ensuring compliance with health codes like temperature control and expiration monitoring.
