Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Clark County Health Card
  • Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
  • Pass a written exam on menu knowledge and sequence of service
  • Present self professionally with proper uniform and name tag

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in high volume, full service restaurant with tray service preferred
  • Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner
  • Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with staff
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
  • Required to pass written exam to determine knowledge of menu and beverage items and sequence of service
  • MMS and Micros experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Responsible for full knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and prices including beverage
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the sequence of service and follow it at all times
  • Able to describe all items on menu and drink specials
  • Assist other servers to give the best possible service
  • Perform necessary sidework
  • Handle guest checks according to internal hotel policy
  • Follow departmental rules to ensure safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction
