Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clark County Health Card
- Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Pass a written exam on menu knowledge and sequence of service
- Present self professionally with proper uniform and name tag
Job Qualifications
- Experience in high volume, full service restaurant with tray service preferred
- Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner
- Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with staff
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Required to pass written exam to determine knowledge of menu and beverage items and sequence of service
- MMS and Micros experience preferred
Job Duties
- Responsible for full knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and prices including beverage
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the sequence of service and follow it at all times
- Able to describe all items on menu and drink specials
- Assist other servers to give the best possible service
- Perform necessary sidework
- Handle guest checks according to internal hotel policy
- Follow departmental rules to ensure safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction
