Attention to detail in responding to residents' likes and dislikes is vital. The server should promptly communicate any issues or requests to the host or hostess to enhance the dining experience continuously. The role also involves active participation in in-service training sessions alongside coworkers to maintain up-to-date knowledge and best practices in food service.
Effective cooperation and coordination with coworkers are essential to ensure smooth departmental operations and the ability to perform additional job-related duties or special projects as assigned by the Host, Hostess, or Dining Room Supervisor. Job Requirements
- Able to work flexible hours and days including weekends and holidays
- Minimum of six months experience as a bus staff at Orchard Cove or in an upscale hotel or restaurant
- Ability to pass a CORI background check and physical exam including TB test
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal or written form

Job Duties
- Presets tables and follows serving and cleaning procedures according to Culinary Services manual
- Be familiar and conversant with the daily food and dessert menus
- Be professional and hospitable to residents at all times
- Complete resident checks accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain dining room and work area neat and orderly at all times
- Follow daily sanitation cleaning schedules
- Be alert to the likes and dislikes of residents when serving food and make the host or hostess promptly aware of any problem
- Attend in-service training sessions with co-workers to keep abreast of current knowledge in the field
- Cooperate and coordinate work activities with co-workers to ensure a smoothly run department
- Performs assigned job related duties or special projects assigned by the Host or Hostess or Dining Room Supervisor
