This Food Server role at Aramark is an essential position that supports food preparation operations and maintains standards that ensure customer satisfaction and food safety. As a Food Server, you will assist the manager by preparing foods and meals, managing cash receipts, and updating meal records daily. You will be a key contributor to completing daily reports and ensuring that the kitchen complies with stringent food production, sanitation, and safety regulations. This role requires a hands-on approach in producing high-quality meals and baked goods according to predefined menus, while actively participating in the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
Your responsibilities will involve coordinating with management to understand daily menus, ensuring food items are distributed according to established schedules and policies, and maintaining optimal food temperatures to guarantee safety and quality. Utilizing proper food preparation tools and adhering to uniform and personal protective equipment guidelines will be integral to this role. The Food Server will also support the visual presentation of meals by incorporating garnishes that enhance customer satisfaction. Physical endurance is necessary for this role, as it involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking and standing.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- food service certification required
- ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications
- Food service certification
- satisfactory education or training enabling interpretation, writing, and tracking of verbal and written guidance
- ability to perform effectively under pressure
- high school diploma or similar certification preferred
Job Duties
- Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
- store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
- distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed meal schedules and policies
- operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
- ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages
- enhance the visual appeal of culinary creations with garnishes
- assist with cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
- abide by all food safety legislation including sanitation, proper food handling, and storage
- adhere to uniform policy requirements
- liaise daily with the manager to understand and execute the menu
- monitor food temperatures consistently
- keep work and storage areas clean and organized
- regularly sanitize workspaces and tools to prevent contamination
- complete duties such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning dishes
- maintain cleanliness and orderliness of garbage collection sites and kitchen floors
- complete other responsibilities as needed including backing up operations in different kitchen zones
