The role of a Busser at The Westin Cleveland is vital in delivering the smooth and efficient dining experience our guests expect. This position involves supporting the Outlet Manager and Restaurant Servers by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment within the dining areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for promptly clearing tables, resetting service ware, and ensuring that stations are well-stocked with necessary items such as silverware, linens, and condiments. Providing stellar service also entails serving guests beverages, bread, and butter at the beginning of their meal and replenishing these as needed throughout their dining experience. Additionally, the Busser plays an essential role in transporting dirty tableware to the dishwashing area to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards. This hourly position offers a compensation rate of $13.50 and does not include tips or discretionary performance bonuses, making it a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware
Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting
Promptly and consistently reset all service ware
Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, and condiments
Serve guests with beverages, bread, and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary
Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
