Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and navigate the restaurant for entire shift
  • ability to reach, bend, and lift 10 lbs
  • flexible schedule to meet location needs
  • food safety certification within 30 days of hire complying with local and state laws

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in restaurant or food service setting a plus
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to lift and carry trays or plates of food
  • knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • outgoing and friendly personality
  • flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • warm and welcoming smile

Job Duties

  • Delivers food orders to customers
  • assists the kitchen and service staff to maintain food quality, presentation, and timing
  • sets up the front line with equipment, plateware, and smallwares
  • keeps station restocked during shifts
  • cleans large and small trays and tray stands
  • performs final check of plate presentation
  • garnishes finished entrees
  • assists servers to optimize customer experience
  • adheres to safety guidelines throughout the shift
  • assists with closing duties and kitchen cleanliness
  • completes front and back of house side work as assigned
