The Pool Runner role at Resorts World Las Vegas is an essential position responsible for delivering excellent service in the pool resort environment. This position focuses on directly supporting guests by delivering food and beverage items promptly, maintaining cleanliness and presentation by bussing extra tableware, and assisting in the general upkeep of all venue areas during service hours. The Pool Runner must have an in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menus as well as venue seating arrangements to assist guests effectively and efficiently. Compliance with all Southern Nevada Health Department standards is mandatory, ensuring that the resort maintains its high standards for health and safety.
Those in this role are also expected to set up their runner’s stations, complete side work, and participate fully in opening and closing procedures as directed by management. The use of personal electronic devices for operational tasks such as reviewing company documents and job-related communications is part of the daily responsibilities. A Pool Runner functions within a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and must be able to interact courteously and professionally with guests, co-workers, and management alike. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow established company policies and procedures are critical to success in this role. This is a full-time position that requires team members to be at least 21 years old with prior pool resort experience. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year pool resort experience
- proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- ability to obtain alcohol awareness card
- ability to obtain food handling card
- must be able to stand for long periods
- must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
- must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality
- prolonged sitting/standing
- bending and reaching
- transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs
- eye/hand coordination
- ability to comply with policies and procedures, job description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions

Job Duties
- Delivers and describes all food items to guests in a timely manner
- performs table maintenance and bussing of excess tableware
- maintain general cleanliness of all venue areas throughout service
- possess in-depth knowledge of all food menus, beverage menu and venue seating
- complies with Southern Nevada Health Department standards
- properly sets-up runner's station, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management
- use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents
- perform other job-related duties as requested
