We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Food Runner to join our Food and Beverage Team. As part of this dynamic team, you will play an essential role in delivering top-tier service that aligns with the Waldorf Astoria's reputation for excellence. The Food Runner position is a vital link between the kitchen and dining areas, responsible for ensuring efficient and timely delivery of food and beverage items while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and cleanliness.

The Food Runner’s responsibilities include replenishing buffet items, monitoring food quality, organizing stock in compliance with health and safety standards, and ensuring the overall buffet area remains clean and inviting. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for hospitality and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Stock and replenish food and beverage items for hot and cold buffets

  • break down the buffet after service to clean and reset
  • store food and dry goods according to food safety and storage standards
  • maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
