We are currently seeking motivated and skilled individuals for the position of Food Runner. This role is vital in supporting our waitstaff by efficiently delivering beverages and meal items to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is seamless and enjoyable. The Food Runner acts as a pivotal member of the service team, bridging the kitchen and dining areas to guarantee timely and accurate food service. The ideal candidate is attentive, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills, with the ability to assist customers effectively by explaining menu specials and making thoughtful recommendations.

This position requires someone who can manage multiple tasks gracefully in a fast-paced environment while upholding our high standards for food safety, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include accurately communicating customer food preferences and allergies to the chefs, setting and clearing tables, and responding promptly to any customer requests or issues. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations

Job Duties

  • Assist customers with their orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and make recommendations
  • deliver food orders to a variety of customers in a timely manner
  • accurately explain food orders to chefs, with specific attention to allergies and special requests
  • help the wait staff set up tables by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, decorations, and napkins
  • uphold our food health safety and sanitation principles
  • occasionally check on customers to handle any impromptu requests or issues
  • remove dirty dishes from the table
  • inform management of customer feedback
  • deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately
  • uphold sanitation and food safety principles
  • bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
  • check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory
  • relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties
  • ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
  • assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations
  • handle various impromptu requests from customers
