This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including preparing and stocking food service areas, assisting with food preparation like garnishing and assembling orders, and delivering food efficiently and accurately to guests. Food Runners must maintain comprehensive knowledge about the menu and cooking preparations to accurately describe each plate and ensure excellent communication with guests and team members. The position demands working efficiently under pressure, particularly during peak dining hours, and being attentive to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and equipment maintenance. Job Duties

  • Stock and organize food service areas in preparation of service
  • assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing plates and assembling orders as needed
  • work efficiently under pressure especially during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of all orders
  • assist the food and beverage and culinary team with food orders
  • have full knowledge of the menu and cooking preparations
  • deliver food to tables accurately while identifying and describing each plate
  • assist with bussing tables or setting up tables when necessary
  • clean up all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order
  • deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
  • perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside normal scope of duties based on business needs
