As a Food Runner at Chili's, you play a vital role in creating an exceptional dining experience for Guests and supporting your fellow Team Members. This position is primarily entry-level, designed for individuals who are passionate about food, beverages, and exceptional hospitality. Food Runners at Chili's serve as the first step in the path to becoming a server, with ample opportunities for quick growth and career advancement within the company.
In this role, enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor are key, as you will interact frequently with Guests, ensuring each person feels valued and attended to. You will help maintain the flow of service by pre-bussing tables, clearing empty glassware, plates, and silverware, and working closely with other Team Members to uphold a clean and welcoming environment. Flexibility is important, as you’ll be expected to work various shifts including weekends, weekdays, and holidays as needed.
The ideal candidate has a strong positive attitude, thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment, and takes pride in creating a personalized experience for each Guest. Job Duties
- Provide hospitable and customized service to each of our Guests
- improve the Guest experience by interacting, connecting, and ensuring needs are met
- keep the tables free of dirty dishes through pre-bussing any empty glassware, debris, empty bottles, plate ware, silverware, etc
- partner with other Team Members to ensure Guest satisfaction
- must be available to work some weekends, weekdays, and holidays as needed
- contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
