This role is essential in bridging the gap between the kitchen and the dining room by ensuring that every dish is an impeccable masterpiece before it reaches the guest. You will be the last checkpoint for verifying that each plate is accurate in terms of presentation, temperature, and content, guaranteeing that all orders are complete and timely. Your role extends beyond simple delivery; you will coordinate closely with kitchen staff and front-of-house servers to communicate important information, including dietary requirements and timing nuances, ensuring seamless service flow.
The position demands strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple orders coming off the line, physical stamina to navigate a bustling dining environment efficiently, and exceptional attention to detail that never lets a plate leave the kitchen without meeting the highest standards. You will assist in plating, adding garnishes, and making sure every dish is accompanied by the appropriate condiments and utensils, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the expo line and pass-through area during shifts. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work early morning and daytime shifts
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not mandatory

Job Duties
- Perform final quality checks on dishes before they leave the kitchen
- Organize and prioritize orders to ensure timely and complete delivery
- Deliver hot and cold food safely to the correct tables
- Communicate clearly between kitchen and front-of-house staff regarding orders and special requests
- Assist with plating and adding garnishes to dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and pass-through area
- Collaborate effectively with the restaurant team to facilitate smooth service flow
